Bess: What is the opposite?

Mom: The opposite of what?

Bess: The opposite of yes and no.

Mom: The opposite of yes is no and the opposite of no is yes.

Bess (as she is walking across the kitchen towards her brother Caleb and addressing him): The opposite of no is yes!
